Over at the Links social inclusion cafe on London Road myself and our new cafe worker Cathy are very pleased to announce our new timetable and menu.
We also have a new leaflet and a new membership form! To become a member you can download and complete the form then return it to us or even easier you can fill out the online form and submit it to us!
Looking forward to welcoming some new members into the service soon!
This week is volunteers week! As a thank you to our lovely and amazing volunteers we went out for our dinner and to play a few games of pool after our Tuesday coffee morning.
I also asked a few of our volunteers about their roles in the videos below. Our Links day service wouldn’t be half of how fantastic it is without our volunteers. So THANK YOU SO MUCH on behalf of everyone at Creative Support services in Liverpool.
We are very pleased to announce that we are currently looking for a volunteer befriender to attend our Pool/Snooker group on a Thursday afternoon between 12 and 3.
The group consists of service users who have a mental health and/or learning disability related need. You don’t have to actually be any good at playing pool or snooker… you just need to be able to have a good laugh while making sure everyone is included in the group. If you are quite handy with a cue, you could always try and beat our Charles – snooker extraordinaire!
If you are interested in this role, please complete one of our volunteer application forms and return it via post to Creative Support, Wellington House, 131 Wellington Rd, Stockport, SK1 3TS or email it to email@example.com.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
